Film review of Paul, Apostle of Christ" by a 13 year old teenager with ADD

The film was filmed in Malta
I want my nephew, who has ADD, to get ready for the Paul movie.   He's distracted, so I showed him some videos about the film.   This article is the result of showing a 13 year old some videos.

Some verses and videos to prepare the
viewer for Paul Apostle of Christ.

I was reading 2 TIMOTHY chapter 4 and I saw the words "I have run the good race" by Paul.
This is a passage that inspired the writer of the screenplay for "Paul Apostle of Christ."
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7

To prepare for the movie, it helped me to watch three videos
Video 1:  The story behind the movie  TINYURL.com/POCCPaul
This 4 minute piece pulls summaries from interviews with the actors and director
(and screenplay writer Andrew Hyatt).  Pay special attention to what Hyatt says about
“how we made this movie.”   They followed ACTS of the Apostles and watched the text closely.
They read 2 Timothy chapter 4 where Paul writes “Luke is with me.”

Jim Caviezel says, “Saul means GREAT ONE.  Paul means THE LITTLE ONE.  We can be
great in the eyes of the Lord when we are humble.”
This video was recorded at a conference where hundreds of young people were surprised
to see the actor who played Jesus in “the Passion of Christ.”

The third video is an interview with Jim Caviezel after he played Christ in The Passion of Christ.
It helped me learn more about the man who turns into Christ in one movie and then turns
into Luke in the Paul movie.  One of the key points is "Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought."   Jim Caviezel.

For more, go to PaulMovie.com and click on the “videos” section of the site.   Look for
“the heart of the story.”  http://www.paulmovie.com/site/lettersfrompaul    The website has
readings from Paul by the actor, James Faulkner.

Interview:  Screenwriter TJ Berden, “Paul changed from murdering Christians to becoming their unlikely leader. His life personifies ‘forgiveness’, a concept that seems almost impossible today—but desperately needed.”

How can we prepare teenagers for this film?
My nephew is 13 years old.  He recently saw “The Passion of Christ.”  I began
the discussion with
“Do you remember the actor who played Jesus in the Passion?”
(“Yes.”)
“He’s Luke in the new movie about Paul.”
(“Paul?”)
“Paul was struck blind while walking to Damascus.”
(“Oh, him.”)

After looking at the three videos, here's what the 13 year old said:

This story is about an adventure with information. It is going to be a good film because the wording has a lot of action. Paul is about to die, he is in prison, his beard is long and it looks like people have been beating him.

Why not buy a copy of the Bible?   Large print...

For people who don't know about Paul, the Apostle, here is a summary from a film review:

Paul is known as one of the great figures of the apostolic age, despite the fact that he was not one of Jesus’s original 12 apostles. He is believed to have been responsible for writing 14 out of the 27 books of the New Testament, and around half of the Book of Acts details his life story and works.  LINK

Gingko Smart by Irwin Naturals helps me with my ADD "lack of focus."

This is a testimonial about Irwin Naturals...  the formula for "Gingko Smart" soft gels is remarkable for its smooth feeling when digested.  I eat it with food -- the label recommends "a full glass of water."

Let's see what Dr. Amen says about these ingredients
