Some verses and videos to prepare the

viewer for Paul Apostle of Christ.
I was reading 2 TIMOTHY chapter 4 and I saw the words "I have run the good race" by Paul.
This is a passage that inspired the writer of the screenplay for "Paul Apostle of Christ."

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

To prepare for the movie, it helped me to watch three videos
Video 1: The story behind the movie TINYURL.com/POCCPaul
This 4 minute piece pulls summaries from interviews with the actors and director
(and screenplay writer Andrew Hyatt). Pay special attention to what Hyatt says about
“how we made this movie.” They followed ACTS of the Apostles and watched the text closely.
They read 2 Timothy chapter 4 where Paul writes “Luke is with me.”

This video was recorded at a conference where hundreds of young people were surprised
to see the actor who played Jesus in “the Passion of Christ.”

The third video is an interview with Jim Caviezel after he played Christ in The Passion of Christ.
It helped me learn more about the man who turns into Christ in one movie and then turns
into Luke in the Paul movie. One of the key points is "Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought." Jim Caviezel.

Interview: Screenwriter TJ Berden, “Paul changed from murdering Christians to becoming their unlikely leader. His life personifies ‘forgiveness’, a concept that seems almost impossible today—but desperately needed.”
How can we prepare teenagers for this film?
My nephew is 13 years old. He recently saw “The Passion of Christ.” I began
the discussion with
“Do you remember the actor who played Jesus in the Passion?”
(“Yes.”)
the discussion with

(“Yes.”)
“He’s Luke in the new movie about Paul.”
(“Paul?”)
“Paul was struck blind while walking to Damascus.”
(“Oh, him.”)
After looking at the three videos, here's what the 13 year old said:
This story is about an adventure with information. It is going to be a good film because the wording has a lot of action. Paul is about to die, he is in prison, his beard is long and it looks like people have been beating him.

For people who don't know about Paul, the Apostle, here is a summary from a film review:
Paul is known as one of the great figures of the apostolic age, despite the fact that he was not one of Jesus’s original 12 apostles. He is believed to have been responsible for writing 14 out of the 27 books of the New Testament, and around half of the Book of Acts details his life story and works. LINK
